ABOUT

Actress and writer Pauline Schantzer, originally from Philadelphia, became rapper Polly Wolly after dropping her first viral video, “Dear Hanukkah.” Her name comes from a childhood friend’s mom who used to say, “Polly Wolly want a cracker?”—and the nickname stuck.

In 2022, Polly was selected as one of fifteen comedians to audition in Atlanta for Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘N Out. She’s known for blending stand-up and comedy rap, performing at top venues like The Improv and The Comedy Store.

Polly also created the hit YouTube series Judy and Me, where she plays her hilarious, no-filter Jewish mom, Judy.

Most recently, Polly has gone viral as “the nursing home comedian,” racking up over 12 million views for her performances in senior care facilities across the country. She’s been featured in The Jewish JournalUpworthy, and even opened for Jeff Garlin. She’s currently planning a nationwide nursing home tour, bringing laughter and music to the most legendary audience of all: our seniors.
